Erika van Elsas receives West European Politics prize

ACCESS EUROPE affiliate Erika van Elsas (EPS) has been awarded one of The Gordon Smith and Vincent Wright Memorial Prizes by the renowned journal West European Politics (WEP). 

Erika received the prize for her article United against a common foe? The nature and origins of Euroscepticism among left-wing and right-wing citizens, which she co-authored with Armen Hakhverdian and Wouter van der Brug. The article is available for free here. Erika van Elsas is a researcher in the project EUROPINIONS lead by professor Claes de Vreese. 

About the prize

The value of each prize is £250. Articles in any of the major areas of comparative European politics, government and public policy, including the analysis of single countries from a comparative perspective, are considered for the Gordon Smith and Vincent Wright Memorial Prizes.
