Renaud Thillaye

French Londoner Renaud Thillaye will be ACCESS EUROPE's guest throughout most of September. From 4 to 30 September he will work from the Roeterseilandcampus of the UvA as a Visiting Scholar.

Renaud Thillaye is deputy director of British progressive think tank Policy Network and lead researcher on EU affairs. He focuses on EU economic and social governance, the Single Market’s agenda, EU institutional debates and the UK-EU relationship. He has led projects related to the impact of financial sector regulation and the Banking Union; financing future growth: public and private resources for long-term investment and innovation; prospects for deepening the Single Market; and the EU’s free trade agenda. He also comments regularly on French politics.

Previously, he In a past life, he worked as a political adviser in the Auvergne region (central France) after graduating from Sciences-po Paris (2005). He then returned to education at the London School of Economics (2011) and made a short stop at the European Commission (2012).
