Wojciech Sadurski

Professor Wojciech Sadurski from the University of Sydney will be ACCESS EUROPE Visiting Scholar for the short period from 20-24 November 2017. He will be hosted by the Law Faculty of the University of Amsterdam. 

Wojciech Sadurski is Challis Professor in Jurisprudence at the University of Sydney. He also holds the position of Professor at the Centre for Europe in the University of Warsaw. He was Professor of Legal Theory and Philosophy of Law at the European University Institute in Florence (1999-2009), and served as head of department of Law at the EUI in 2003-2006.

Wojciech Sadurski's research interests include jurisprudence, legal theory, philosophy of law and political philosophy, and comparative constitutionalism. His books include Rights Before Courts: A study of Constitutional Courts in Postcommunist States of Central and Eastern Europe (2005/2014) and Constitutionalism and the Enlargement of Europe (2012). 

During his visit to ACCESS EUROPE Wojciech Sadurski will engage in the following activities:
